![]() | Kochi (Cochin)Kochi is an utterly vibrant city incorporating breathtaking scenic panoramas and centuries of history just dying to be delved into. In its rather strategic position Kochi is referred to as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea”. Set against the Western Ghats on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other it is in no doubt a veritable smorgasbord of visual overload. |
MunnarIndia covers areas both north and south of the equator; so people will be able to escape the heat always.
When summer drops in on India, a lot of people would pack their bags and move to Munnar for a week or two. With its high altitude, the town is able to offer visitors respite from the heat that is present in other parts of the country. The greenery in the area also helps the town by providing fresh air.
Periyar Wildlife SanctuaryWildlife is best experienced up close, and not through the bars of a cage.
People think that bars and cages protect the people from danger while allowing them to witness life in the wild. Although the first part might be correct, the second is inaccurate as the cages also hinder the movement and behavior of the animals. To see them in their natural habitat is the only right way.
![]() | Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)Often compared to Rome Thiruvananthapuram is situated upon the top of seven hills that slope towards the shining Arabian Sea. Previously known as Trivandrum, this sloping has lent a hand to the mythological origins of the city, rumor has it that Thiruvananthapuram was raised from the sea and gifted to the Brahmins by Lord Parasurama. Named as the Capital of Kerala State it is the epitome of tropical India. |
