![]() | AgraThe first thing that comes to mind when you think about Agra, India, is, of course, the Taj Mahal, but to truly explore Agra there is much more to be seen than just the Taj, the precious gem of India tourism. Tourists who travel India often overlook the rest of the town in their burning desire to see Taj Mahal. However, we say there is far more to Agra than meets the eye. For those who travel India, there is a magnificent fort and many stunning tombs and mausoleums that add a fascinating look into the legacy that the Mughal Empire left behind. Agra sits on a large bend in the river Yamuna, a river considered holy here in India. |
![]() | Alleppey (Alppuzha)The “Venice of East” Alappuzha makes for an impressive and wonderful holiday for the tourists. With its picturesque greenery, mirror still lagoons, visit Alleppey to get an experience of a slice of Venice. Alleppey has a maze of canals and is the most popular place to venture into the backwaters in Kerala. The amazing panorama of the palm-fringed lakesides, the unmatched magic of the narrow, quaint streets makes for a delightful setting. |
![]() | DelhiDelhi is a complex city made up of old Delhi and New Delhi; which may seem like a walking contradiction. Old Delhi constitutes of a crazy and hectic atmosphere in a medieval type setting and is literally like stepping into a different age compared to the rest of the city. New Delhi in opposition is set mainly from the British era. And on top of this is an even newer Delhi, one that is ridiculously modern and far less structured. |
![]() | JaipurKnown over the world as the Pink city Jaipur will set your senses tingling and make you remember your holiday. The largest city in the state of Rajasthan, Jaipur has the distinction of being the first planned city of India. Previously the home of Royal Indian families Jaipur is now a major business center and tourist spot for travelers from worldwide. |
![]() | Kochi (Cochin)Kochi is an utterly vibrant city incorporating breathtaking scenic panoramas and centuries of history just dying to be delved into. In its rather strategic position Kochi is referred to as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea”. Set against the Western Ghats on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other it is in no doubt a veritable smorgasbord of visual overload. |
Periyar Wildlife SanctuaryWildlife is best experienced up close, and not through the bars of a cage.
People think that bars and cages protect the people from danger while allowing them to witness life in the wild. Although the first part might be correct, the second is inaccurate as the cages also hinder the movement and behavior of the animals. To see them in their natural habitat is the only right way. |
