If you are around this place during the third Monday in October of any year, you will get to see the Fama of Menino Jesuse, which is one of Goa’s most famous feasts.

Take a stroll along the beaches to just relax and watch the mackerels that have been spread out to be dried. You can also laze around sunbathing on the golden sands, or just enjoy the view of the constant, calming rhythm of the waves. There are a number of trinket stalls that you can explore, or you can just stroll over to any of the drink stands for a truly refreshing time.

If you want to have more fun, take time out to be at the Colva & Benaulim beaches when the fishermen are bringing in their nets. You can help them drag the nets in and spread the fish along the shore to dry. This is also a great opportunity to get some good photography done.
